Sharjah -Russia Business Roundtable, October 11, 2023

To further enhance bilaterial investment and trade relations between two countries the Sharjah Foreign Direct Investment Office (Invest in Sharjah) together with the Russian Business Council held a "Sharjah- Russia Business Roundtable", on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at "House of Wisdom" in Sharjah.

This forum was attended by  H.E. Ahmed Al Qaseer, CEO of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and H.E. Oleg Fomin, Consul General of Russia in Dubai and in the Northen Emirates,  government officials in Sharjah , business leaders and investors.

Invest in Sharjah organized a conference " Investment oppotunities in Sharjah", during which presentations were made by main speakers including H.E.Mohamed Al Musharrkh, CEO of Sharjah FDI Office (Invest iin Sharjah) , H.E.Dr.Khalid Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City (SHAMS), H.E. Ahmed Al Naqbi, CEO of the Emirates Development Bank (EDB), Najla Al Midfa, CEO of Sharjah Enterpreneurship Center (Sheraa) and Mariam Rashid Bin Al Shaikh, Director of SBWC .

Commenting on the results of the forum, H.E.Mohamed Al Musharrkh, CEO of Sharjah FDI Office (Invest iin Sharjah) noted the following:
"Thanks to strategic geographical position, well-developed infrastructure and favorable investmet environment theEmirate of Sharjah is an ideal place for Russian and multicultural  companies that tend to enter local and international markets".
